PAUL F. GUILLARO, President

Paul graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1980. He has been employed in the contracting field from his college graduation through 1984 at which point he partnered in forming Unicorn. During his time as President of Unicorn, Paul has continued to purchase real estate either for development and sale or investment, including the purchase of Tanto Irrigation, a golf course irrigation company, nationally known.

Paul and his companies enjoy many banking relationships with such institutions as Tompkins Mahopac National Bank, Putnam County Savings Bank, M&T Bank and Sterling National Bank.

Paul is involved in many charities and community based services. He has been on such boards including Hudson Valley Hospital Foundation, Cardinal McCloskey Services, Charity Navigator and San Miguel Academy where he supports them with his time and financial backing.

Michael Guillaro, Vice President of Development

Michael graduate in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Villanova University, PA.  Following his graduation, Michael joined Turner Construction to further his construction management experience.  In 2018, Michael joined Unicorn Contracting Corp. as a project manager in our residential division and currently has shifted to add to his repertoire, project management for our commercial mixed-use division, managing subcontractors from the site work, to foundation, to structural steel, framing, roofing to mechanical rough-in and various tasks in between.

MATTHEW G. MORAN, Vice President of Construction Development

Matt graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and completing his internship at Unicorn under Paul Guillaro’s direction.  He has been employed in the contracting and construction industry from his college graduation. Matt has successfully completed residential housing, commercial and mixed-use development projects from town/village approvals through their completion.  He works very closely with the architects, engineers and planners to ascertain project completion at the highest regard.

ALLAN ROTHMAN, Financial Analyst and In-House Counsel

Allan graduated with an MBA in Finance and Marketing and an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago. In addition Allan is a Member of the NY State Bar Association. Throughout Allan’s career he has served as Chief Financial Officer, In-house Counsel, Principal, Chief of Staff and Real Estate Attorney for several prestigious companies. Allan has successfully managed real estate projects from project acquisition, through the approval stage, leasing and project completion.

ANGELIQUE R SIGNORELLI, Finance Manger

Worked as a Senior Accountant for 20 years with CPA Firm. Joined the Unicorn team in 2013. Angelique as a seasoned Finance Manager with years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in financial oversight for complex projects and operations. Expertise in budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and contract financial management, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulations. Skilled at driving profitability, streamlining processes, and supporting project teams with accurate, data-driven insights. Known for strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering financial stability.

RACHEL VACCARO, Executive Administrator

Rachel is a graduate of Marywood University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration. As Executive Administrator at Unicorn, Rachel plays a vital role in keeping daily operations running seamlessly. With a strong ability to connect the dots across departments, Rachel supports the intersection of office management, human resources, and financial coordination. From overseeing administrative processes to assisting with contracts, budgeting, and project tracking, Rachel brings a detail-oriented and proactive approach to every task. Known for reliability and organization, Rachel helps ensure that teams stay aligned, deadlines are met, and projects move forward efficiently.
